We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Market Operative to join our team. This is a physically demanding but rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being hands-on, and contributing to the smooth running of vibrant community events.

We operate markets throughout Warwickshire and the wider region. Applicants must be able to travel locally to market sites. For events that are further afield, team members will be required to meet at our office, where transport will be provided.

The majority of our work takes place at weekends, so please only apply if you're genuinely committed to the role.

  • Erect and dismantle market stalls efficiently and safely
  • Set up stalls according to site layouts and guidelines
  • Assist with loading and unloading stall equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of event areas

Requirements

  • Over 18 years of age
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift and move heavy items regularly
  • Previous experience in a similar role or manual labour is essential
  • Flexible availability – early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Proactive approach with a focus on safety and efficiency
  • Must be able to travel to event locations
  • A clean UK driving licence is desirable; trailer towing experience is an advantage
