Nuneaton smells good for Food Festival

A new festival celebrating the best of food and music in Nuneaton will take place this summer. The festival is being put on by CJ's Events Warwickshire, the organisers behind the very successful Warwick & Kenilworth Food Festivals. There will be over 60 traders selling hot food & cold food, alcohol and other products such as jam and chocolate, along with live cookery demonstrations, live music and some great family activities from 10am to 6pm on Sunday July 8 on Queens Road. Jamie Walker of CJ's Events Warwickshire said: 'Following talks with Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council we're pleased our event has been given the green light. Nuneaton is a great town, with lots of great independent & nation stores and we're keen to put on an event to attract high footfall into the shopping areas in addition to putting on an exciting and unique event.' He added: 'The festival will showcase some of the best food & drink producers from across the region, Visitors will be able to enjoy live music & activities and we hope residents of Nuneaton will come out and support this new event.' More details will be announced over the coming weeks.
