CJ's Events Warwickshire would like to thank everyone who has supported the Mid-Week Market in Warwick.
Supporting local business was the aim of the new market, which started back in June and ran for a 3-month trial. That trial has now ended. The market hosted around 10-15 stalls each week offering artworks, jewellery, home decor items, fashion accessories, local produce etc. Hopefully, the market will return during the summer months of 2022 and is looking to host more stalls than ever before.
Jamie Walker of CJ's Events Warwickshire said: "We're delighted to have had support for the Mid-Week Market in Warwick. The initiative between Warwick District Council, Warwick Chamber of Trade and ourselves was to bring in additional footfall to the town to help our independent traders and surrounding shops, cafes & bars after coming out of the Coronavirus National Lockdowns."
He added: "The market was originally scheduled to run for 3-months, whilst a longer-term market would have been considered, we feel it's best to end it under the 3-month trial. It's been decided a short summer market is best for a Mid-Week Market in Warwick. We will look at returning the Mid-Week Market next summer."
The Saturday Market remains open in Market Square and hosts over 50 stalls of the finest produce, arts & crafts. There are other great events taking place throughout the year.
