CJ’s Events Warwickshire Cancels Weekend Markets Due to Safety Concerns
CJ's Events Warwickshire regrets to announce the cancellation of all markets scheduled for this weekend due to safety concerns arising from Storm Bert.
The decision is in line with advice issued by Local & National Government.
Jamie Walker of CJ's Events Warwickshire said: 'COVID-19 is a very fast moving and complex situation, the health, safety and welfare of our team, exhibitors, contractors and visitors must be taken seriously during this crisis. Currently the UK is on lockdown and this is expected to last for sometime. The team have put a great deal of time, resource and energy into organising and promoting this year's Coombe Abbey Food Festival and it is another massive blow for us.
'We know this cancellation will be a huge disappointment to our exhibitors and thousands of visitors, and we sincerely apologise, but this is now totally out of our hands. We have however been able to confirm a 2021 date with Coventry City Council. Sunday 13th June 2021 has been booked for next years Food Festival.
'We're hopeful that our events from July onwards will resume as normal, however we will update everyone should this change.'
CJ's Events Warwickshire has made contact with all exhibitors and event delivery partners and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their on-going support.
